For those of you who missed the man in black during his lifetime, he left a legacy of charism.  You can have your Perry Como Christmas Special and the June Taylor Dancers, no offense intended.  Johnny Cash is America’s Prophet.  He married into our most authentic folk music lineage when he and June Carter were hotter than a pepper sprout.  She stood by her man through some very difficult times.  Together they produced a body of work to lift and enlighten everyone who listens.
