Sea Song
August 20, 2025
Whisper sea shanties and sing to the fish
Stars reflected on surface waves all night
Sun signals a clean sweep for today
Internal Combustion
July 31, 2025
Summer sets in the west without defenders
Her burn out has dragged on
Prolonged by static pressure and heat
Bringing the whole population to attention
This harvest is the last one to take
For granted as a result of natural causes
Dissolve Projections
July 19, 2025
The image was faint yet still fading
Storing energy and maintaining a belief
That personal opinion creates a privilege
To judge the value of the contributions
Made by all sentient beings in all times
By standing in place without perspective
By repeatedly looking for fault and failure
When presence is required for clarity
Let There Be Light
July 8, 2025
Breaking the spell that holds your imagination
Will be earth shattering, consequential, loud
The spiritual command is perfectly clear
To anyone who plans to govern this state
Drifting along consuming atmospheric grit
Is a pathway that leads to bitter confusion
Whirlwind
July 1, 2025
Distinguished Fellow Travelers,
The turbulence you are experiencing
Will subside when the inner conflict
That is nurtured by projection
Comes to a final end
Grand Finale
June 28, 2025
Ending practices that disturb and distract
From the glory of days spent in nature
From the abundance freely available
From creative satisfaction that sustains life
Between Eras
June 2, 2025
Best understood from a distance
Time slips into forms for continuous improvement
Reduces memory to a string of events
Possessions and other objects
Look faded in the background of now
This moment has what remains of then
Figure Out
May 1, 2025
Nature talks to us about changes in flow
Observers have been watching for signs
To foretell the fate of this planet’s inhabitants
Living between echo chambers
Squeezing the life out of the truth
Budding Enthusiasm
May 1, 2025
Picture the perfect pomegranate popping
Producing pretty sparkly seeds of joy
Growing up in summer heat to become
The brightest star of the autumn season
Mouthwatering beauty in progress
Petals

Petals frame the floral equation
Blowing in the wind, falling to the ground
Showing the pollinator where the action is
Signaling a time sensitive issue with color
