They add leavening to create a sponge that brings life
To the simple ingredients destined to be formed and baked
Into loaves and rolls of every shape, size, and flavor
The magic alchemy of kneading dough is just the start
Proofing and baking at the perfect temperature is only a part
Of the transformation from grain and water to the bread we love to savor
