translation is not needed or available for the subtle message

of color, light, scent, flavor and soft petals dropping to the ground

That is a wonderful poem, Pamela. I am not sure if I should say the “images illustrate the words” or “the words describe the roses”. I am honestly impressed.

Thanks,Brigitte. I think it says a rose by any other name would smell as sweet..but that was already taken. My friend teaches English in Switzerland. I encouraged her to get the kids involved in poetry because the rules don’t matter.
