reflection
Stepping stone dreams bring me closer to clarity
Upon opening my eyes I start to drift from the course
Into a sea of busy, important, never-ending issues
That will turn out to be meaningless in the end
Light and dark have shades and shadows
Time has the power to make the story bend
As daylight slips slowly into my vision
Contrasts and sharp edges change my decision
